Sustainability focus areas

Priorities related to model and strategy

We offer IT solutions, products and platforms, helping our clients in their digital transformation journey. Combining our industry expertise, well-established methods, and our commitment to responsible digitisation, we contribute critical IT solutions to society and businesses across Europe.

Our value chain relies on components such as IT and data centre equipment, software licenses, and human capital. As such, our most important focus areas, include:

  • Our carbon emissions and energy mix
  • Resource use and circular economy
  • Our people
  • Governance and business conduct
  • Civil society and end-users

Engaging with stakeholders

Our key stakeholders include our workforce, private and public sector clients, EU partners, investors, end-users, and equipment suppliers. They shape our strategic decisions and daily operations, impacting employee development, DEI, customer engagement, methodology and delivery model, as well as our sustainability agenda, procurement practices, and strategic partnerships and engagements.

Engagement with our key stakeholders occur through a mix of informal interactions and formal strucures, e.g., collecting feedback from customer satisfaction surveys and insights from experts within and outside our organisation.

Preparing for the CSRD

The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is newly implemented legislation which mandates the disclosure of our sustainability performance using a structured framework. Netcompany Group is obliged to report on CSRD from January 1, 2024. In 2023, we partially pre-implemented the methodology and requirements related to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

This included a gap assessment, materiality analysis, and building a solid data foundation, including improved control environments modelled after financial reporting standards. We partially implemented the standards: ESRS2: General disclosures, E1: Climate change S1: Own workforce, and G1: Business conduct.
