Head of Global Business Events

Role and responsibilities

You will be the focal point for all international client-facing events and related activities, and in the role, you will: 

• Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key public and private clients across Netcompany’s diverse industries across several markets
• Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies aligned with business objectives, encompassing live conferences, round tables, and other client-specific activations
• Oversee all aspects of event execution, ensuring flawless logistics, budget adherence, and exceptional attendee experiences
• Leverage data and analytics to measure event success and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Secure collaboration across internal teams across markets (marketing, sales, operations)
• Liaise and support Netcompany’s local offices in market-specific events and client-facing activities

About you:

You have a strong background in strategic commercial marketing and relationship management and have at least 10+ years of practical experience in building client relations on live channels, such as events and conferences with both public and private clients – nationally and internationally.

To fill the role as the Head of Global Business Events we imagine that you:

• Proven track record of building and nurturing high-value client relationships
• Extensive experience managing live events (conferences, tradeshows, client activations) from conception to execution
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and analyse event performance
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus 
• A strong understanding of the tech industry, a natural interest in people, curiosity and empathy are also at the top of your competence description
