Justice
Netcompany is already in a strong position within the area of justice, given our work as a key partner and supplier to the authorities within the Danish judiciary. We have in-depth knowledge and experience of the ways in which individual judicial authorities work. Among other things, we have developed an efficient national crisis communication channel and contributed to the modernisation of the police, prosecution services and courts.
We have been a powerful modernising force within the Danish judiciary system, where we have supplied new case management systems and disposition solutions to the Danish Police and sentencing solutions to the Danish Prison and Probation Service.
Efficient crisis communication for citizens and businesses
As part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Netcompany worked with the Danish Police to build an online national crisis site. The site has been integrated into the Police’s existing homepage and is easy to scale and adapt so as to enable key authorities to provide citizens and businesses with up-to-date information and guidance on COVID-19. The site provides an overview of the current COVID-19 situation as well as the latest news, reports, analyses, government announcements and guidance.
Modernisation and digitisation of the courts
There is significant potential for modernisation and digitisation within Europe’s court systems. By using modern systems and offering users - both professionals and citizens - targeted insights into cases and rulings, it is possible to create a more flexible and efficient judicial system.
Netcompany has been a key partner in the modernisation of the Courts of Denmark and we have supplied state-of-the-art criminal, judicial and civil systems, as well as created a new database for court rulings that ensures higher transparency around individual rulings.
Efficient processing of weapons permit applications and weapon registration
Working closely with the Danish Police, Netcompany supplies a digital weapons register that supports weapons control, operational policing and investigations at both the national and European level. This is achieved through increased traceability as well as better and faster access to data on weapons and weapons parts. The register complies with new EU requirements regarding the national registration of weapons and parts. It is a modern and flexible solution based on robust and secure best-of-breed technology.
