Service Desk Operator

Netcompany’s Operational Monitoring and Triage team is part of Netcompany's operations organization with more than 120 employees in Leeds, London, Copenhagen, Aalborg, Warsaw and Vietnam. As our new colleague, you will be part of a team consisting of technicians at the beginning of their IT journey through to masters of their chosen specialism. You will be responsible for 1st level support and monitoring of Netcompany's many customer solutions.A challenging and exciting everyday life with the opportunity for professional development.
Netcompany’s Operational Monitoring Team is our customers' entrance to Netcompany and we operate 24 hours a day 365 days a year to ensure that customers are never more than a phone call away from high quality support and service. With more than 150 customers, you will have a challenging but exciting everyday life characterized by many different tasks depending on the individual customer's problem.
You will be part of the shift team and will be responsible for support and service of Netcompany's customers. Your primary tasks include:
- 1st level support for large critical systems
- Link between our customers and the rest of Netcompany
- Resolve and record cases of various technical natures.
- Procedure writing for client systems.
- Set up and update auditing
In the long term, you will have the opportunity to expand your responsibilities in the position and develop within the technical track that interests you most in our operating organization.

In addition, we imagine that you:
- Have some education or experience in IT
- Speak and write English fluently
- Have a strong approach about wanting to learn
- Have a solid knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Are a great communicator with a positive ‘can-do’ attutude
- Passionate about helping to develop a team in constant motion
In addition, it will be an advantage if you have knowledge or experience with 1st level phone support.
In the netcompany operational monitoring team you will not be wrapped in cotton wool even if you come directly from the education.
