Operations of Ledernes Hovedorganisation central server infrastructure

Ledernes Hovedorganisation launched a major development project in 2015. In this context, there was a demand for substantial expansions and the modernisation of Lederne's existing service infrastructure. 


Ledernes Hovedorganisation is an interest group that delivers targeted services to all the members of the three organisations: Lederne, Virksom and PRO.

The organisation represents around 111.000 members and, unlike other employee organisations, Ledernes Hovedorganisation only has professional personnel. Their hallmark is quick and professional help to bring all members further regardless of complexity of the situation. The organisation has a high level of ambition and focus on the innovative development of their services.

Ledernes Hovedorganisation launched a major development project in 2015. In this context, a significant expansion and modernisation of the existing server infrastructure was required. This situation gave a timing-related natural reason to consider future strategies in this area and, thus, the opportunities for outsourcing. Outsourcing could provide an opportunity to focus the use of internal IT skills on business development, rather than having to share the same resources in daily operations.



Ledernes Hovedorganisation chose to outsource the operations of server infrastructure to Netcompany. The solution is based on the following platforms:

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft Navision
  • Microsoft SQL Server (incl. BI/DW)
  • Sitecore
  • Citrix XenApp

The movement of all of the central solution is completed at the beginning of 2016.



After a successful transition, Ledernes Hovedorganisation can focus on the organisation's continuous business development. Before the transition, the operations were stable and effective, but after the transition, Ledernes Hovedorganisation benefited from the greater robustness and the broader skillset that Netcompany Operations offer as a result of economies of scale.   

Ledernes Hovedorganisation has a close, ongoing dialogue with its customer team at Netcompany Operations, so that the daily flexibility is retained. Netcompany Operations infrastructure maintains a constant surplus of total capacity, which gives our customers access to new capacity at short notice. This provides increased opportunities for an organisation like Ledernes Hovedorganisation, who constantly has new projects underway.
