Job Description

We are looking for Technical Business Analysts to come and work on an exciting new opportunity we have.  We are looking for young and experienced professionals who are passionate about agile ways of working, using your experience to better the services and coaching junior members of the team.  The candidate will need to be able to work closely with developers, project managers and technical leads to define the scope of projects, elicit requirements and manage upcoming work.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing, refining user and stakeholder requirements.
  • Requirements gathering and workshop facilitation
  • Using a wide range of analysis techniques to understand problems, identify improvements and make recommendations.
  • Identifying and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Working in Agile Delivery teams adopting agile tools
  • Demonstrable experience of working with Product Owners in grooming product backlog and producing meaningful Epics/Stories that can be consumed by the technical teams.
  • Process modelling and customer journey mapping and assisting user testing.
  • Experience of working with various tools and technologies needed by a BA eg Confluence, Jira, Visio Mural, Miro etc
  • Understanding of Service Maps an experience of UK Public Sector services is desirable

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience of working as a BA, investigating, assimilating, and analyzing different needs, constraints, and problems. Able to document the outcomes in simple, easy to understand language.
  • Analytical skills including communication, stakeholder management, and organisation.
  • Experience with Splunk, Datadog, New Relic and similar monitoring\APM solutions
  • Excellent experience using AWS & Azure
  • Strong technical knowledge of environments management and configuration orchestration technologies (eg GIT, Bitbucket, Team City, Artifactory, Nexus, or other tools for continuous integration/continuous delivery)
  •  Eligibility for SC
