Working on the solution for the future of air travel

What are your typical daily tasks as a Senior Consultant?
My days vary greatly and will often deviate from my planned work, making every day new and dynamic. My main responsibilities comprise of ensuring that a subset of the solution meets the requirements – both in terms of functionality and performance. To do this, I continuously prioritize the work needed to be done by either myself or the team, discuss high-level design decisions or in-depth implementation strategies, and keep our progress on track.

What have been the most interesting about AIRHART – and why?
AIRHART has the potential to take us to interesting places abroad, to let us work with cutting-edge technology, and to let each project participant develop professionally. I have the opportunity to contribute with my own ideas which makes me feel valued here.

What motivates you in your work?
Watching the solution come together piece by piece is what motivates me in the long run. To see the platform being used in CPH is amazing, and I get to grow professionally and help my colleagues to do the same.

What makes it fun to work in Smarter Airports – and why?
We are working with some of the most interesting technologies with leaders in the tech industry, which means I am learning and growing every day. No day is the same, and the challenges that arise from working on a project of this magnitude keep me on my toes.

What does it mean for you to be part of a comprehensive transformation of an entire industry and thereby influence important infrastructure?
It is a major motivator to be working on a solution that is pivotal for the future of air travel. At the same time, it can put Copenhagen Airport ahead of its competitors. It is something that I am proud of, and sometimes even brag about to my friends and family!
