Netcompany is responsible for the management, maintenance and further development of the overall system behind the digital service and self-service portal for citizens,

Challenge has 2 million users every month who are dependent on the system to apply for and receive benefits. More than 1.900 self-service solutions from local municipalities, SKAT, ATP, Udbetaling Danmark, Digital Post and many more are supported. Efficient administration is therefore essential and Netcompany has created a unique set-up, which results in low reaction times and quick resolutions.



The solution consists of three main components: a security solution based on ADFS which manages citizen-login through NemLog-in, editor-login from Agency of Digitisation and local municipalities via certificates or NemLog-in, and system to system security; a self-service database that supports more than 700 portals and allows for content personalisation in, specifically Min Side; and the citizen's portal,, which is an access point for articles and self-service solutions.

The portal is built to be responsive and can be used on various devices with different size monitors and interfaces.



Netcompany has achieved in close partnership with the Agency of Digitisation the modernisation and enhancement of the system's underlying architecture, and has thereby improved performance and stability, which increases user-friendliness across the board. The implementation of a new design ensures that citizens can visit from any device. Vital services were moved to Azure, ensuring high operational stability.
