Netcompany Talent Network 2020
The Netcompany Talent Network has become an annual tradition and is one of the most prestigious student events in Scandinavia. The Netcompany Talent Network is an exclusive event with IT talent from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom and for the first time students from the Netherlands are invited as well. Located in beautiful surroundings at a castle dating back to 1664, the Netcompany Talent Network offers a unique opportunity to meet other skilled students from across Northern Europe.
The purpose of the event is to form an informal network between talented IT students across the different countries. The aim is that this network will be something that the participants can benefit from for the rest of their lives.
The participants are students with an IT, maths, engineering or science background from the top universities in the different countries.
The day is divided into 3 main parts:
- We will start with different teambuilding activities like canoeing, archery and mind puzzles. All the activities focus on collaboration which creates a strong teamwork and a good foundation for the case work later in the day
- The case will be a real Netcompany case, that will give you insights into how it is to work as an IT consultant or Software Developer in Netcompany. The case is intense and challenging, but first and foremost fun
- After the case it is time to have fun and relax. So we end the day with a three course dinner and finish off in the bar with cocktails and music
The teams will include participants from the different countries and a mix of academic backgrounds.
Participants from the United Kingdom, The Netherlands and Norway will arrive in Denmark the day before the event and leave the day after; you will be notified about the practicalities if you are selected to participate - with travel and accommondation expenses covered. Expect to be away from Wednesday afternoon until Friday afternoon.
