What are cookies?
Cookies are small files which are stored on a user's computer, smartphone or another similar electronic device. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. This allows the server to deliver a page tailored to a particular user, or the page itself can contain some script which is aware of the data in the cookie and so is able to carry information from one visit to the website (or related site) to the next.

In this policy the meaning of the word “cookies” also includes other kinds of automated data collection, e.g. Flash-cookies (Local Shared Objects), Web Storage (HTML5), JavaScript’s or cookies placed by the use of other kinds of software. The word “cookies” also refers to information about MAC-adresses and other information about your electronic device.

Cookies can be used by either Netcompany and/or third parties.

There are three types of cookies:

  • First-part cookies: Cookies that the website saves onto the computer
  • Third-part cookies: Cookies that are saved by third party programs, like Facebook and Google Analytics. They are non-harmful just like first-part cookies
  • Session cookies: Temporary cookies that are deleted when you leave the website

See the section below for more information on what kind of cookies we are using and the purposes of the cookies.

How to avoid and delete cookies
If you do not want Netcompany to place or read cookies on your electronic device, you have the possibility of opting out of cookies in your browser, where you can choose which cookies that should be allowed, blocked or deleted. How to do so depends on what kind of browser you are using, please refer to your specific browsers settings regarding cookies.

Be aware that if you are using multiple browsers you will have to delete and/or block the cookies in all of them. As user, you also need to be aware that our website might not function optimally if you delete or block cookies.
